Fatima-Ezzahrae Touilila is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Middle Eastern, South Asian and African Studies and the Institute for Comparative Literature and Society. She holds degrees in Political Science, Law and International Relations from Sciences Po (Paris) and Columbia University. Her work focuses on intellectual history, the epistemological ruptures in the making of Modernity in the Maghreb, Judeo-Islamic syncretism in Morocco.
