Iuri Bauler Pereira is a PhD Candidate in Latin American and Iberian Cultures writing on experimental literature, underground film and countercultures in 20th Century Latin America. His dissertation, “Latin American Countercultures and the Third World” is a transnational study on the circulation of third-worldist ideas among countercultural movements in Brazil and Argentina in the 1960s and 1970s.
