Alondra Nelson A Featured Guest on Two NPR Programs

Sociologist Alondra Nelson was a featured guest on two NPR programs: On the Media, where she discussed how DNA testing, while limited in some respects, may help African Americans in tracing ancestry and lineages destroyed by the transatlantic slave trade, and All Things Considered, where she spoke about how genetic testing may lead some individuals with only small percentages of minority DNA to misuse programs designed to support minority groups.
