Please join us for an engaging experience with playwright Sedef Ecer who will be visiting New York and Barnard between Oct. 15-23.
Sedef Ecer was born in Istanbul, where she grew up in a world of movie-making, theatre, and television. In French, Ms. Ecer has written numerous plays, screenplays, novels, as well as articles and editorials for national newspapers and magazines, and explored transmedia narrative. Her theatre work has been translated into Polish, Turkish, Armenian, German, Greek, and English; her plays have been produced in venues across Europe and in the U.S. Sedef Ecer has also translated the work of Charlotte Delbo and Saint-Exupery into Turkish.
