Ianick Takaes de Oliveira
Department of Art History and Archaeology

Ianick Takaes joined the Ph.D. program of Art History and Archaeology and the ICLS Certificate in Comparative Literature and Society in 2018. He specializes in Italian Renaissance art and twentieth-century art historiography, with emphasis on the Warburgian tradition. He has a B.A. in Visual Arts (2008) and an M.A. in History of Art (2017) from the State University of Campinas, Brazil. In his Master’s thesis, Ianick discussed and translated into Portuguese Edgar Wind’s Art and Anarchy (1963).
