W. B. Worthen is Chair of the Department of Theatre at Barnard College and Co-Chair of the Ph.D. in Theatre at Columbia, where he is also appointed at Professor in the Departments of English and Comparative Literature, and the Theatre division of the School of the Arts. His research interests include drama and performance theory, contemporary performance and cultural studies, Shakespeare performance, and theories of technology.
