Architecture

Yara Saqfalhait studies the historical relations between architecture, capital, and knowledge production, with a particular focus on the Eastern Mediterranean and North Africa in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. After being trained in Architectural Engineering at Birzeit University in Palestine she earned a Masters degree in History and Philosophy of Design from Harvard University and is currently a Ph.D. student in Architectural History at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation.
