Bernard Harcourt Co-leads New Project Supported by Mellon Foundation Just Futures Grant

Political Scientist Bernard Harcourt will co-lead a new project with sociologist and chair Bruce Western entitled “Racial Justice and Abolition Democracy: An Action Curriculum for a Just Society”. This project is supported through the Just Futures initiative, which awarded Columbia University with a $5M Mellon Foundation grant. These grants are awarded to “university-based teams across the US who are committed to racial justice and social equality.”
