Columbia, Howard Universities Launch New Collaborative Black Studies Book Series, Diversity Program

Columbia University Press, in collaboration with Howard University’s College of Arts and Sciences and Columbia’s Department of African American and African Diaspora Studies, is launching a new Black studies book series, with additional plans to recruit students for careers in the publishing industry. Professor of Music and AAADS Kevin Fellezs, Professof of English and AAADS chair and ICLS affiliated faculty member Farah Jasmine Griffin, Professor of History and AAADS Frank Guridy, and Chair of Religion and Professor of AAADS Josef Sorett will be the four editorial board members representing Columbia in this historic collaboration.
