Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak takes part in webinar about how marxist feminism can connect with BLM globally

ICLS Founder Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak, alongside Gina Dent, Surya Parekh, and Jule Goikoetxea took part in a webinar entitled “The Horizon of Black Lives Matter: How can marxist feminism connect with the BLM globally?”

Referents of feminism, the speakers addressed issues such as systemic racism, the conditions of subalternity, and feminisms, which all of them converge in the BLM movement and provide a crucial practice to the marxist feminism. This seminar was part of the activities programmed by the International Marxist Feminist Conference.
