ICLS 2021 Fulbright Visiting Scholar Fella Benabed, who’s research focuses on postcolonial and medical approaches to literature, recently published her book, Applied Global Health Humanities: Readings in the Global Anglophone Novel. The book, which focuses on the relevance of Anglophone novels in global medical humanities, explores the positionality of health issues in Anglophone novels, considering political, sociocultural, and ethical concerns. The book also addresses perceptions of health issues in the Global South and within minority communities in the Global North. The book is now available for preorder, and can be found here.
