John Peffer, ACL Visiting Scholar at ICLS in 2019, had his essay “How do We Look?” on privacy and photography in South Africa published in the November full special issue Kronos, on “Other lives of the image,” a version of which was given as a talk when John was a fellow at the ICLS.
