Mahmood Mamdani Was A Panelist For A Harvard Divinity School Webinar, Will Deliver Wellek Lecture Series at UC Irvine

Anthropologist Mahmood Mamdani was a panelist for a webinar entitled, “The Decolonizing Rubric: Modernity, Religion and Re-imagining Palestine/Israel” hosted by the Harvard Divinity School’s Religion, Conflict, and Peace Initiative. Professor Mamdani will also present three lectures on “Studying Trans-African Slaveries: Pitfalls of the Atlantic Model” for the annual Wellek Lecture Series hosted by the Critical Theory Institute at UC Irvine.
