Professor Mahmood Mamdani’s work named as “Focaal 100”

Congratulations to ICLS-affiliate Professor Mahmood Mamdani (Anthro, MESAAS)! His book,Citizen and Subject: Contemporary Africa and the Legacy of Late Colonialism, was named by Focaal as one of their Focaal 100, a list of one hundred “indispensable works for thinking in our times.”
