Matthew Engelke will give a Seminar at Cornell’s 2020 School of Critical Theory

Executive Committee member for ICLS, Professor Matthew Engelke will give one of the main, six-week seminars at the 2020 summer session of Cornell’s School of Critical Theory. His course will be titled “Magic,” and will focus on the cultural history of magic: as an idea, as a practice, and as a tool with which to wield power and induce wonder.
