PSP Student Wins Prestigious Award for Third Year in a Row

Nicholas Garey ’26 has won the American Psychoanalytic Association Undergraduate Paper Prize for 2025 for his paper “Ghosts, Dolls, and Dissolving Margins: A Loewaldian Reading of the Neapolitan Novels of Elena Ferrante.” Nicholas wrote the paper for Dr. Adele Tutter’s Post-Freudian theory class in the Spring ’25 semester. Prof. Tutter is the Director of the Psychoanalytic Studies Program at ICLS. This is the third year in a row that the Undergraduate Essay Prize has gone to one of Dr. Tutter’s students.
