Rosalind Morris’ Opera Will Make its Premiere in June at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater

Anthropologist Rosalind Morris‘ new opera, Southern Crossings, will have its world première on June 16 at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College in New York City. Professor Morris co-wrote the libretto and co-produced the opera with Professor of English and Chair of Africana Studies Yvette Christiansë (Barnard); the music was composed by Zaid Jabri.
