Sheldon Pollock elected Fellow of the British Academy

Professor Sheldon Pollock of MESAAS was elected as a 2020 Corresponding Fellow of the British Academy. The Fellowship is given in recognition of outstanding contributions to subjects within the humanities and social sciences. Professor Pollock is recognized as one of 86 new fellows for his work on Sanskrit philology; Indian literature, intellectual history, history of aesthetics; and the theory of philology and of comparativism.
