You are cordially invited to a faculty book launch on April 19!

NYT bestselling author Dr. Sayantani DasGupta in conversation with Pooja Makhijani.

Senior Lecturer in Narrative Medicine, the Institute for Comparative Literature and Society and the Center for the Study of Ethnicity and Race, Dr. Sayantani DasGupta is also a NYT Bestselling children’s author – and would love to have the ICLS community attend the virtual launch of her new YA book, Debating Darcy. This multicultural, feminist reimagining of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice takes place in the high stakes world of high school speech and debate and has been described as “fiercely feminist” and “a charming and witty retelling like no other!”
