A discussion about the public and political life of B. R. Ambedkar and his second wife, Dr. Savita Ambedkar, nee Sharda Kabir with a focus on the politics of translation, the relationship between history and biography, and the archive. Guests include Vijay Surwade (independent scholar), Nadeem Khan (translator), Dr. Sunaina Arya (Jawaharlal Nehru University), and Dr. Aakash Singh Rathore (Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla) in conversation with Anupama Rao (Columbia) and Scott Stroud (University of Texas-Austin)
